I went to Chinatown a weekend or so ago, I'm always struck by how overtly different it looks to other quarters of the city, London has a lot of areas with a distinct cultural flavour but chinatown is so bright and well..... red.
These images were processed in Aperture 2 to give them a sort of 90's style film look, Aperture is a very flexible tool, more powerful than you initially think if you came from Photoshop for your image adjustment, all the tools for fine tuning everything from individual colour bandwidths to mid-tone contrasts are in the adjustments panel and of course you have the advantage of working on an original RAW file so you have a greater bandwidth to work on particularly on highlights.
